Workspace Settings: Members, Departments and Labels
Configure your ChatMaxima workspace from one place. Manage members, departments, labels, canned responses, notifications, usage, and more from Settings.
Settings Overview
The Settings section is the control center for your ChatMaxima workspace. From here you manage who has access, how conversations are organized, how your team is notified, and how your plan is used. This page introduces every section so you know where to go for each task.

Workspace
The Workspace section lets admins create new workspaces, edit their name and description, and activate or deactivate them. Use separate workspaces to keep different brands, teams, or business units fully isolated. Learn more about Workspace →
My Workspaces
My Workspaces lists every workspace your account belongs to, shows your role in each, and lets you switch between them or leave one you no longer need. Learn more about My Workspaces →
Members
The Members section is where you build and manage your team. It covers three related tasks:
- Members - view active and deactivated members, edit profiles and roles, and deactivate or reactivate access.
- Invite Members - add new members, assign one or more roles, and configure restricted-agent access.
- Manage Agents - set each agent's availability and weekly working hours.
Departments
Departments let you group agents into teams such as Sales, Support, or Billing. Departments power routing and assignment so conversations reach the right group, and they scope what restricted agents can see. Create a department, then assign members to it. Learn more about Departments →
Labels
Labels are color-coded tags you apply to conversations and contacts to keep them organized. Use labels to categorize by topic, priority, or stage, then filter your inbox and reports by label to find and measure what matters. Learn more about Labels →
Canned Response
Canned Response stores reusable, pre-written replies your team can insert into conversations with a short code. Saved responses can include text and media, speed up support, keep answers consistent, and reduce typing for common questions. Learn more about Canned Responses →
Message Status
Message Status defines the color-coded states used to track where a conversation stands, such as open, pending, or resolved. Configuring statuses helps your team triage work and gives reporting a clear picture of conversation outcomes. Learn more about Message Status →
Notifications
The Notifications section controls how and when you are alerted to new activity. Set your personal email and inbox notification preferences feature by feature, so you stay responsive without being overwhelmed. Learn more about Notifications →
Usage Summary
Usage Summary shows how much of your plan you have consumed, agent seats, messages, contacts, channel accounts, and workspaces, measured against your subscription limits with progress bars. Review it regularly and purchase add-ons or upgrade when a metric runs low. Learn more about Usage Summary →
