Copy & Delete Messages - Manage Individual Messages
Copy the text of any message to reuse it, or delete a message you sent, directly from the conversation.
Overview
Each message in a conversation has quick actions that let you copy its text or delete it. These help you reuse wording and clean up mistakes without leaving the thread.
Copy a message
- Hover over (or open the actions on) the message you want
- Choose Copy
- The message text is copied to your clipboard, ready to paste into another reply, note, or document
Copy is handy for reusing a well-worded answer or moving text into a canned response.
Delete a message
- Open the actions on the message you sent
- Choose Delete
- Confirm the removal
Note: Deleting removes the message from the ChatMaxima conversation view. Whether it is also withdrawn on the customer's device depends on the channel's own delete support and time limits.
